Would it be possible to tag users in posts like on Facebook? So I would say @Tomush and a link would appear to their profile or whatever? Seen this used on other sites and thought it could be useful.

I've thought about this before, and I actually like the idea of it. If this thread gets enough positive (or at least not valid negative) replies then we'll look at implementing a system.
And yes, there would have to be an option within user control panel to diable tag notifications for individual users.
