Requests for project thread copying

Hi all,

Some of you had some quite large project threads on AC that you want/need transferring over. We've now proved it's possible to do it without any issues with Mark's thread.

The actual process is quite long and takes both me and AJ quite a long time so we can't/won't do every thread. It also causes an outage on the site as I have to take it offline for backups before we do it (just in case it does go wrong).

So if you want yours transferred please post a link to it here, you'll need to be a VIP member or at least have donated something to the site for us to do it. Even then we cannot guarantee that we will do it, we do not gain anything from it.

Please do not post if it's not a large thread, small threads you can copy over yourselves...

Any images from the old site which were uploaded as an attachment will not be able to come across.
What you will need to do is AFTER the thread has been put on here, you need to save all the attachments from the old site, and upload them to something such as ImageShack or PhotoBucket, and then update the links in the new thread.

Do not update the old thread because it will make no difference

Any images hosted at ImageShack or PhotoBucket ect at present will work without any issues.

Also, you will lose any font colouring, formatting and sizing that you made on any posts.

A chunk have been imported, OPs will need to check and adjust the posts as they see fit (as AJ has mentioned the attachments do not work - they will link back to AC. Simply download the originals and upload them somewhere (here or Photobucket and add the tag).

As that is such a small thread would you mind moving it manually? If not we will add it to the list but we've had major problems with the importing today (hence the downtime and Vegas disappearing )
