By default the forum software resized any image uploaded to TheCorsa to a 100px wide thumbnail to display in the post. Upon being clicked this opened the full size image. You could overwrite this on a per image basis, by double clicking the image in the post editor and choosing Small, Medium, Large or Full Size as a display size. I understand this was not obbvious to the majority of users.
As an interim measure I've increased the size of the generated thumbnails to 300px max-width. They are still clickable to view full resolution.
Is this ok? Would you like them to be resized to something like 600px so as to avoid large images in threads but not really make most images any smaller? Would you prefer it to not resize to any size of thumbnail and images get posted to threads/posts regardless of their dimensions (could be abused and lead to untidy forums, so may have to run that by staff).
Opinions on this? Personally, I hate super sized images, but I also hate clicking thumbnails, so myself, I'd lean towards having anything larger than 600px resized to 600 wide, and be clickable for full res, anything 600px wide or under, would remain untouched..
