  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] Fan switch spanner size?

    Hi guys,

Does anyone know the size spanner needed for removing the fan switch on the bottom of the rad?

    Thanks

30+ rings a bell. Haven't you got an adjustable?

It's a biggun, not sure on the exact size as I just used adjustables.

Looks like a 32 but I need to go out and buy one so want to be sure. Haven't got an adjustable one.

Instead of buying the right sized spanner, why not get some good adjustables? Far more useful tool to have if you don't have some already.

As above, you'll probably never use a 32mm again, adjustable are used often. If you're going to buy one..

32mm fits many oil filter housings and also drive shaft / hub nuts. It's a confined space so a big 32mm spanner is fiddly - in which case consider using a oil filter spanner from somewhere like Halfords. They're much shorter.

The main thing to watch for is the inner nut spinning with the sender unit and ripping out of its mounting lugs in the side of the radiator.
