  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] Oil bubbling under cap

Took the car out tonight for a drive, checked a few bits over after and noticed oil bubbling like this....

Bubbled on the cap and few bubbles on the cams etc. Is this normal? Also get vapor/steam out the cap for a good 20mins after a drive sometimes too

If those are just when hot then don't worry about it, and the vapour from the cap is usual as well. It depends on the oil - like how old it is and how much water vapour from combustion it has absorbed.

(Just check it's not overfilled which can cause excess bubbling)

I will check over the weekend maybe to a short run and see what its like. Oil is 4 months old but I plan on replacing it again soon, level is half way.

I was just worried if it was getting too hot hence the bubbles
