[Corsa B 1993-2000] Camber Is Out On One Front Wheel - Advice Please!

Hi all,

Noticed the other day that the o/s/f wheel is wonky.

Im guessing at first glance that the camber can be adjusted slightly by
making an adjustment where the lower arm meets the hub???

Car is lowered on yellow shocks with red springs (brand unknown at moment).

When ever you lower a car's suspension you will be affecting the camber usually.
There's only one way to adjust the camber on a Corsa B without either camber bolts or adjustable strut tops and that's by using the elongated slot on the struts of your aftermarket suspension. Not all suspension has this elongated slot thou.

You can't adjust it via the bottom arm though and if the camber is worse on one side than the other and you don't have elongated holes then something is either worn or damaged.

Nothing appears damaged so hopefull there is some adjustment on whatever kit has been fitted.

If tis a cheap kit then usually there isnt, you fix it by buying a set of camber bolts and having an alignment shop fit them and adjsut them then they align the car.

Take the wheel off and post a photo of the suspension set up.

Had the car on a ramp at local garage who checked all fixings etc.
Also checked ref points to make sure arms & shocks are level & also
checked inner wings for signs of accident damage but nothing found.

Garage have suggested that stub axle maybe bent so currently
seeking a replacement.

Anyone else had a bent axle?

I think what Vega is saying is that the stub axles are on the rear of the car. The fronts have hubs mounted between the strut and lower arm.

Maybe the garage are being careless with their terminology - or if the rear axle is bent (they can be damaged if you hit the kerb hard or if they corrode) then the symmetry may have thrown the front out as well.

Trouble is - we can't see the car so very hard to say much that is helpful.

Lol, no, my terminolgy is out.
I did mean the front hub.

Im going to check/swap front shocks over & see if that makes any difference.

If everything checks out then I can only assume that the inner wing is bent
in some way
