[Corsa B 1993-2000] Smaller alternator

Hi guys

I'm in need of a smaller alternator as although I've lowered mine its still too big and causing the carbs to be pushed out of line.

Does anyone have any idea if there's an alternator off another car that is smaller then the corsa ones and will work?

But is extending the Alternator bracket and getting a longer belt an option?

Already extended it as far back as it will go didn't fancy smashing the bulkhead in. Cheers rob will look into it
