Hi hopefully you guys/girls can help my corsa 2009 (i think this is a D) sxi has develped a fault. Revs increase for a second when pressing clutch to change gear, the accelorator is not depressed. Makes it sound like im a learner driver again
If im stationary and press clutch it doesnt do it.

It is all fly by wire so there's not a lot you can adjust. The main thing is to make sure that the throttle body is clean. You don't say which engine but on the petrol 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 crankcase fumes are fed into the combustion process via the throttle body. Over time the oily fumes can make the throttle body sticky which has been known to cause the problem you describe. A spray with carb cleaner often does the trick.
