  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] corsa b wheel change

Guys, as mine is a pre facelift Corsa b mine has 145 80 13 steels at the moment that are very thin. The later Corsa b's have 165 70 13's, is there any drawbacks to me changing to the latter?

Nope, nothing you'll notice. is it worth it though?

Steels for steels? Sounds a bit depressing, don't fancy a set of alloys

Yeah just got my insurance down to sensible levels so at the moment I'd just like to improve the safety aspect of the car lol norms the name sensibles the game lol for the time being at least

If it's safety you're after then don't forget that thinner tyres grip better in the wet / snow / ice. The 'fatter' ones will handle the awesome power of a facelift Corsa B on a nice dry road, but they will be more slippery in all other conditions.

Managed to find a pair of 145's so stuck with the smaller ones.
