  • [Corsa D 2006-2014] Where is my maf sensor

Hi, been having a few issues with my car atm, all signs point to a maf problem.

Looked under the bonnet and looked in between the air filter box and the throttle body to find my maf but it is not there!! checked the whole air intake pipe and nothing?

any ideas where it might be? or if it has one at all?

Those use a MAP sensor - manifold absolute pressure. The AMF/MAF were a notoriously weak component whereas MAPs are much more reliable. The MAP is on the throttle body but they rarely give problems. What are the symptoms you're trying to fix?

Thank for replying, I had a rough idle but I sorted that now by changing spark plugs and cleaning up the throttle body, but the issue I can't find a cure for is that when I'm cruising at a steady speed the revs drop for a sec and then go back to normal and then Do it again until I power to next gear(it's a auto). Sometime this can be stopped by if I pull over put it in park and then back in drive.
