Front sills where the jacking points are, one side at a time. If you're going to be working under the car I suggest investing in some axle stands. Could quite literally be a life saver.[CENTER]Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.

Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.

On poverty spec models without sill skirts you can use the lower edge of the sill - where the suicide jack engages - if you use a rubber pad with grooves cut into it (see below). But otherwise use the box section Vegas refers to as that is usually solid. However, that box section is one of the areas where the B loves to rot, sometimes from the inside out, and they can collapse without warning on old Corsas. So check it carefully before jacking on it. Any signs of corrosion in that area and proceed with caution.

if you do use a trolley jack on the sills do what I did get some wood and cut a "v" in the wood this will protect the sill for the numpty scissor jack in case you need it .I wish I could put some pics up so you would know what I mean but I am new on here , today in fact .
