    HELP NEEDED PLEASE!!!

I have a 2005 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SRI cylinder head has been skimmed and replaced, new coil pack, air flow meter, lamda sensor the car runs absolutely fine BUT, after starting it up and approximately 20/30secs later a very slight misfire is present ONLY on idle besides that the car drives without any issues what so ever. No fault codes present or lights. would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Could be early signs of a weak coolant temperature sensor, the one on the water pump that tell the ECU when the engine is warming up. Default fuel/air mix is for a cold start, if the CTS is weak then early on in the warm up period it may be running slightly rich which can cause a lumpy idle.

There's a number of things it might be other than that, but the CTS is cheap and easy to replace, and to be honest it's worth replacing it from time to time anyway. So I'd give it a go and see if it does the trick.

I assume the plugs are good. Bosch one? It's one thing you need to keep to OEM spec. Aftermarket ones are often suspect.

Yes, sorry for got to mention that the plugs have also, been changed too (Bosch ones) along with a few other bits and bobs, I have been to a number of garages and they're all left scratching their heads as many of the main components have been changed/replaced etc however, no one has mentioned the CTS... think I'll give it a try. Many thanks
