  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] Handbrake Rattle

All of a sudden there's a loud rattle that's coming from the hand brake area. Its loudest when the car is stationary but having the handbrake on/off doesn't make a difference.

The sound goes once the car is in motion. Any ideas?

    Exhaust or exhaust heatshield.

      I'd agree with above.
Something is rattling and vibration is travelling

Thanks everyone. No access to a ramp. Is it something I can fix myself?

If its an exhaust hangar you can get them off the ol' interwebs and jack your car up to replace, probably not recommended you get under it mind so dont take my word as gospel as its only supported by a flimsy jack, maybe invest in some axel stands or get a garage to do it, id go with axel stands for the long run if you aim on doing a few bits your self and saving some cheddar.
