I have been having a problem when braking but only when I'm braking gently like at a junction. As I am pressing the brakes I feel a small thud that feels like a cog has slipped a tooth. I have had all new brake shoes put on today and I still have the same problem. I have called a couple of garages for advice but no one seems to know what I am talking about, I would be grateful of any help with this

It's a Vauxhall corsa sting 2004, If I brake hard it does not happen it only happens when I'm braking gentlyOriginally posted by Danny View PostWhat model is it?
It's definitely not a cog, as there are none in the brakes. Probably a worn part knocking when the weight shifts forward as you brake.
