[Corsa B 1993-2000] engine turns but does not start

hi everyone i have a 1997 corsa breeze and for the past few days its starting to get on my nerves our lass wants to scrap it but being a true corsa maniac i said NO

all that it is :

i pulled my amp power cable out the other day and it hit side of car n sparked and now it wont turnover. i have charged my bat overnight, i have tryed starting it with easy start, iv taken cover off carb, checked all fuses under stearing wheel, put fuel in carb, tried to jump and bump start both failed, and now its just igniting the easy start and cutting back out, the imobiliser light is not flashing so i dont think its that but if someone can help me i will be very greatful as its reli getting on my nerves now

Does the EML come on with ignition? Or does it stay off the whole time?

stays on constant untill i try start car then it goes off when car starts for few secconds n then comes back when it cuts out

Yes, they come fuel injected

Start with telling us which engine it is. If you're not sure post a photo of it.

You say it isn't turning over, yet later say it will fire on easy start - so it is cranking on the starter or not?

Was the amp cable you pulled out the car amp? In which case there's a possibility you've spiked the ECU.
