This is my friends car, its a facelift corsa c design and hes just informed me that its pissed oil all over the road abd there is none left in it, there appears to be oil all over the aircon unit and wishbone, any ideas what this could be? I havent seen it myself so dont know any more information but it has had a eml come on in the past couple of days, no idea if this is linked

unknown serious oil leak?

If there's NONE he has probably smashed the sump on something, especially if there's a big puddle.
If it's low then it's probably a leak. Like it says above, usually from the switch.
Without seeing it, it's like me asking you why my gutters leak
