[Corsa C 2000-2006] Chain Cover Dowels

I was in the process of changing the timing chain and when I removed the cover it appears that there are no dowels in there. I checked the holes in the head, the timing cover and the ground incase they had fallen out but I can't find them anywhere.

I presume it is necessary to have them in order to align the cover? Has anyone found them online somewhere as I can't and my nearest Vauxhall is 50 miles away.

I think you'll need to go to a Vauxhall parts dept. to get them. You could try ringing Autovaux on 01924 376003 just in case they stock them.

Is there supposed to just be the two of them, one at the top right and one at the bottom left?
