Better than vauxhall as the rod is metal not plastic so gear changes are very very much improved.

Also will last far far longer

does the B even have plastic linkage (think it has??)

There different and I think they are metal anyway, for certain gearbox types you can get quick shifts had one or two of them and they are great.
