[All Models] C20XE/F20 gearbox input shaft oil seal, Changing advice due to leak

Hi Advice needed, i thought i'd come on and see if this can be done before i went into taking the box out. My f20 gearbox on my C20xe input shaft oil seal is leaking alot. It decided to leak after it was fitted onto the car when i did the conversion unfortunately so i thought as you can change the clutch without removing the gearbox from the car can you change the input shaft oil seal the same way? has anyone done or attempted this as i really don't fancy removing the gearbox for a second time, Cheers
