You're much better off just finding an aftermarket double din unit with satnav etc built into it. If you go the vauxhall route, you'll pay a lot of money for whats essentially a very outdated headunit and satnav. You'll need to buy the larger screen to repalce your smaller standard one, youll need to buy the larger surround for it, the cd70 itself, then you'll need to buy the sat nav reciever seperately for it, and the mini loom that accompanies it... Keep in mind all of these parts are vauxhall specific, so carry the classic "dealer tax" so to speak.

You'll spend absolutely hundreds, and end up with a 6, 7, 8, 9 10 year old radio/satnav. Not the best way to go.

        Topman.
        Thanks for your perfect answer.
Next thing if you can help.
We have a single din cassette player with the cubby hole underneath which makes it a double din if both are removed. Can I take cassette and cubby hole out and fit a double din CD player.
What's the best version CD player I can fit if possible and will I need any extras to fit or is it plug and play.
        Thanks

Yes you're right, the cubby hole comes out along with the cassette player to give you a double din gap. Although its not perfectly double din sized, it's slightly bigger. So you need to buy a fascia/surround for it, which neatly fnishes the hole off and blends it in with your dash. You'll also need an ISO Loom adapter, it's like a mini adapter loom, fairly standard thing, cheap, and common, needed when anyone installs any aftermarket unit in a corsa (or other car really), you'll also need single din radio unlocking keys (again, cheap, and common). Oh and you may need an aerial adapter too, as I believe the aerial int he corsa is the old style one, and all the headunits these days have the new style one.

You can usually buy all of this in a kit as one tbh, I'll see if i can find any links for you.. one sec.

*EDIT* - Oh, and as for recommendations on headunits, tbh there are so many, and I'm not rally in the loop with them anymore, all I can say s try to avoid halfords own brand (ripspeed etc) and go for a brand known for audio. Sony, JVC, Panasonic, Kenwood, Alpine etc etc.

There you go - Vauxhall Corsa C Tigra Vectra Double Din Stereo Fascia Fitting Kit Adaptor | eBay

Don't blindly buy that one though, thats just showing that kits exist, although on first glance that ones pretty close to what you need tbh, lol. Alot depends on the year of the corsa, the colour of your dash, and what connector the earial is on your new headunit.

Nice one. I know a little about fitting kits and ISO leads but any help would be appreciated.
Also what's the best vauxhall double din CD player I can fit as I would rather stay standard as it keeps the sticky finger mob out of the car.

I posted twice there btw, not sure if you saw second one as you posted quick after it.

But in answer to your post there, I believe it was the "CDR 2005" which was the headunit vauxhall put in if you wanted a CD player, its double din, CD, FM radio, fairly standard really, I'm not sure they up-specced the headunits any more than that really.

Another head unit to look out for is a cd30 mp3. Some versions will come with an aux socket. Just keep an eye out.
