  • [Corsa C 2000-2006] Nankang NS2 tyres

Hopefully this is the right section, wasn't sure whether or not to put it in Mechanical Help!

What do you think of these tyres? I've got to get some tyres on the Ronals and I have found http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200945879383

Any good? The Ronals are 7J wide so there should be a slight stretch but not to much which is what I'm looking for.

What are people's opinions on Nankang tyres? Would these be suitable for me? Do they have sufficient grip or are they a load of crap?

    Ta.

    Nankang aka ditch finders.

Toyo Proxes or uniroyal rainsports are good value.

I do like the Toyo T1-R tyres but can't find any for 185/45R15 :/

Can anyone else recommend any tyres that would have a slight stretch but still fit on a Corsa C that has been lowered?

Good tyres Kumho are. Grip well in the wet and dry.

175's look okay stretched on 7J wheels as well. Hmmm this could be an option.

Apparently you have to fit stretched tires with hairspray?

Yup. Finding a garage that will fit them will prove difficult. They spray gas (or hairspray) around the rim and set it alight so that the tyre pops on to the wheel. Seen a few attempts go fairly wrong.

Yeah just been watching videos on YouTube about it. Some melt the tyre because of too much gas

If it pops, put it down as scene tax

My cousin is a tyre fitter, just asked him about it and he has done it before. His first one exploded like a bomb apparently

i've had kumho on a previous car, really liked them and would buy again, so good choice imo.
