  • [Non Corsa] Spraying a car Matt black

When spraying a car Matt black do you do the same process as normal colours? Eg sand down, primer, spray then lacquer? Or is it just simply spray the car with Matt paint?

You can do it normally but flat back and spray works just as well for matte black, it looks poo though

Was thinking about it but how much would it cost to do a medium sized car?

Wrappings probably the way to go I'd say.
There's a 5-door XE on here wrapped Matt black and it looks great.

Wrapping would be the best option.
Car would hold its value and you don't have to worry so much about stone chips, with there not being the protective clear coat present.

yes you do laquer it you need either a dedicated matt laquer or normal laquer with matting agent added into the mix
