  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] Wheel fitments

    Hey guys,

What will fit my car, its a 4 stud but its gibberish to me when someone mentions the likes of 4x100 or 4x105.. what will fit on my car and how big can i go suitably with rim size?

A Corsa B fitment is 4x100, which means 4 studs, 100mm apart (in a square).
There's not much choice out there that properly fits the Corsa due to the high offset. The offset is the distance between the mounting face of the wheel, and the centre line of the wheel:

The offset is ET49 for the B. Meaning the mounting face is offset from the centre of the wheel by 49mm. Most aftermarket wheels are much lower than this, and spacers can only increase offset, not decrease.
Wheels with too low an offset will stick out of the arches, which looks silly and is illegal if the tyre tread is outside the arch.

Size wise, 16" is as big as I'd go. 17s fit but look a bit daft. Due to the fitment problems above, most people use alloys from other Vauxhalls, or from Vauxhall specific aftermarket companies like Irmscher.
