[Corsa B 1993-2000] O/S door handle gone floppy

HI,

recently noticed that the O/S door handle that used to have a really positive action when opening the door has gone all soft - it still works bit feels like somethings going on inside the door.

before I go pulling the door apart anyone any ideas ?

hoping to get parts from scrap yard before I pull apart to get done asap.

The handle is usually just a metal rod like a bike brake line that is pulled in the inside door handle.

My corsa c had specifically bent tent peg looking rods that made up the lock.

Doubt either of these would snap but maybe needs adjusting but doubt you'll know until door card is off and you have a play while watching it work.

Hopefully someone can advise you better.

The little return spring has broken. It won't affect the working of the handle at all, it makes it feel soft when you open it.
