[Corsa D 2006-2014] 2008 Corsa Replacing Driver Wing-mirror

Hi All,

Bit of a problem.

Mirror glass in driver wing mirror has fell out and completely smashed so I need to replace it.

Identified suitable replacement glass product on Halford's website yet when I located in the store and spoke to staff I was informed that their mirror glass are only 'cover-ups' to be used on top of cracked glass (which hasn't fell out). Everything is fine with my wing-mirror apart from the glass, obviously!

What's the best thing to do? Do I need to replace the whole mirror fitting?

Thanks for any advice- appreciated as this is the first time I have encountered this problem.
