  • [Corsa D 2006-2014] engine fan switch

Hi- does anyone know where is the switch responsible for turning on/off engine cooling fan 0pel corsa 1.6 2006

    Thanks

It uses the coolant temperature sensor and is controlled by the ECU, there isn't a separate thermoswitch as on the older models.

Is it the switch under the coilpack?

Depends what you mean by 'switch'. Theres nothing the driver can operate, but it will be controlled and 'switched' on and off automatically depending on engine temperature.
At this time of year ,on short runs, it may not need to come on at all. Its quite likely to be controlled by the ECU and involve temperature sensors etc.
This is beyond my knowledge. If you can explain in more detail any problem you might be having someone may be able to point you in the right direction.
