[Corsa C 2000-2006] Corsa C dash electrical fault and randomly locks all doors

Hi,

I have a Corsa SXI 1.2 2006.

Initially I had problems with my speedometer. I was on the dual carriageway one time and I had no readings and lights were on as if a I stalled the car. I had to follow the car in front until I could stop, AA couldn't find a problem. Replaced the battery in my key and seems to be okay for now.

This morning however, driving to work. The radio turned off, all interior lights turned off and my car locked all the doors. Seconds later lights came back on and so did the radio (car still locked, yet lock button isn't lit).
I have a similar problem when driving at night, interior lights turn off with the radio randomly and back on.

Wondering if water got into the electrics.

Any ideas?

Sounds like bad connection behind the speedo. Common fault, pins don't make proper contact

mine does same but also lose temp gauge and red light comes on dash as if you got handbreak on goes crazy then ok for weeks
