[Corsa D 2006-2014] 2011 Corsa excite trip computer

Hi,

recently bought a 2011 corsa excite 1.3. Love the car and economy etc...
the only problem is the display only shows the radio / phone, outside temp. Is there anyway to get this to show Range left, mpg? Or is it not possible on this model?

I think it can simply be turned on by someone with the right software.
The higher spec models have that feature but it's disabled in lower spec cars.

Don't suppose if anyone knows anywhere that could do this near nottingham? Stampede are based in Halifax, which is a bit of a trek!

With the vectra u need a trip computer installing and a stalk i think or depends on canbus level or stereo. Does it all come as standard but disabled in newer VX's?
