  • [Corsa D 2006-2014] shut up headlight alarm

Is there a way to silence the alarm for headlights turned on?

Every time i pull the key out of the lock and than open the door this thing starts beeping.
I don't know what Opel was thinking in 21st century. Haven't see this kind of alarm for many years - after fathers Kadett 20 years ago!

    thanks

Take the button out of the door frame, mine didn't work on my old b and I always forgot to turn lights off when I left the car lol

I do to understand why it's an issue? Surely you turn lights of before leaving the car anyway?

My vectra does this. I turn my lights off before I open door and I take my key out after I turn the lights off.

            Then I open door.

            No noise

Couldn't you just turn this off through the Op-com? common sense to turn your lights off before you leave the car?

When I had my Corsa, I left the lights on PERMANENTLY.
When I got out the car, the lights turned themselves off.....I am sure of it
