[Corsa B 1993-2000] Outside air temp sensor

Hi,

I seems to have a problem with my temp ind on the MFD. The temp reading is definitely wrong. It stay's around 22 deg. Can someone please help me with a temp to resistance chart or the resistance at 20 deg or a diagram. I would like to do some troubleshooting before I go and buy a new sensor.

First to check is that the sensor hasn't got knocked so it's picking up heat off the radiator. Next thing to do is to remove it and spray some WD40 into the connections.

Hi, Al, if you can tell me how much the shipping (to NZ) will be I'll consider it.
I've tried the WD40 trick, but now I get erroneous readings.

didn't realise you were in (NZ) lol....

will see what it will cost, but, don't they have car breakers in NZ ? surely you could buy a new one cheeper than shipping this one half way round the world ?
