[Corsa B 1993-2000] electric resistance help!

right... surely someone will know about this stuff
i want to change the front indicator bulb from the normal big one to the same size that is in the wing repeater...
but obliviously i have the problem that it will flash too fast,


people say i need resistance to slow the current but how much resistance?

I think it's as follows:

If I assume they're 5 watt then...

You'd need something around 30 Ohms, at least 5 Watt power handling (more power handling capacity the better).

If my maths is right.

33 Ohm 10 Watt (wirewound) is about 40p from Maplins...
