Hi guys, is there any way of telling which engine is in a car just by looking at the numbers on its ecu? Long story short i bought an engine for my car and just want to make sure 100% its an x16xe. I can't look at the engine code on the block due to the fact it is laying face down on a trolley. the engine is out a tigra and the seller assured me it was from a 1.6 16v tigra. I got the complete engine along with the ecu transponder and chip. Saw the engine running so i know it was the ecu from this car.
