  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] are all corsa speakers the same? (corsa b, c, d)

my door and rear speakers are rattling like mad so want to replace them, if i were to buy a set of corsa c or d speakers off eBay will they be a straight swap? or are they different.

Little different you would have to buy speaker adapters / spacers, but the size would be the same which is 17cm for corsa c and think there the same for "B" and "D" corsa's too.

Be careful as some places I've been have tried telling me the 13cm are the right ones (yes they fit) but you can imagine the sound quality will be weaker, and the standard ones are normally 17cm.

I'm using jl audio which pack a punch and have the separate tweeters too. (Competition type)

Most people on hear have there own preference so instead of an open debate maybe best to go halfords and try different ones, don't let them sell you anything as you can normally get better spec's slightly cheaper else where.

Use different radio stations / music to see how they cope, some sound great on classic, but sound like a bad trump with pop music.

                    Lol

End of the day it's up to you if they work for you use them. Just remember a set of a friends jvc's start smoking when the bass kick in when they were amped up.

ah good point! to be honest, can we say tbh is that allowed? anyway i actually like the functionality of a parcel shelf, never really bothered me to stick speakers in it

                        Tbh can be used lol.

Stealth shelf's can be bought or made to hide speakers but they are some what weighty.
