  • Insurance gone up

Hi, I updated my address on my insurance and my insurance has gone up 50 a month despite advising that I would be parking 50/50 between my home and work address.

Took mine up to 300 a month which is brutal. Does home address have to be your home address on policy and you have to park there and pay extra for everywhere else I can because it seems a Piss take ?

The question is 'where will you park your car at night' and it applies to where it will be kept the majority of times

My policy was strange in that aspect. It asked where my car was parked during the day. For most of the daylight hours it's parked away from home, and i stated that, but they never asked for the address of where it's kept (it varies)

I got two questions and mines a 50/50 split since I work days and nights...think I'll have to look into a named driver to bring it down.

My dad has a low policy if I was to add him so he can drive about once a month could do that ?

Keep it at your home address, anywhere else and you're inviting problems.

Also try adding your dad, it's different for each company

Yeah mine's gone up by 50month until end Jan. Would also cost me to add my dad with 25+ NCB.

Looks like I'm paying via the arse then. Renewal time I'm going elsewhere ideally.

Nah I did think three but it's 2. Sorry bad three hours kip lol. But it's monthly so here on out it's 300 until.renewal right? Also means next year will not go down as previously hoped but will shop hard.

With it been a ten month policy I Dont get how the NCB works. Sure I was told I get it within 10months. Sound right? Or only counts with them? Will ask them soon maybe.

You'll have a years NBC to use but don't so another 10 month policy, it's a false economy.

Such up the last two payments, your insurance may not go up as much as you fear as a large percentage of that may be charges. Which Admiral company you with?
