Mine has just died on me, i just need to know if it's worth getting one with a refresh rate of 100Hz? It's an LED I'll be getting.

I'm pretty sure that won't make any noticeable difference. I'd say just make sure it's backlit not edge lit (more consistent brightness), it'll be a little thicker but worth it on a big screen.

I'd say it's worth getting a 100hz one as long as you can turn off the 100hz mode. It makes everything much smoother looking then regular stuff but it has the side effect of making movies look weird because it's too smooth looking.
I've got one, but i usually turn off the 100hz mode for certain movies

I didn't get a 100hz one in the end. Bought a Toshiba which came in under budget, has 3 hdmi ports and plays my movies off a USB stick. Going from a 720p 32", it's a big improvement.

                Thanks for the input gents.
