PS4/Xbox One

Ps4 for me, at Christmas, still deciding on which games to get.

I'll be getting an xbox one, but not until next year. Probably get an ps4 at some point too.

PS4 has overheating light,
Xbone so far has had software issues with notifications not showing

this is just off my FB wall last week or so tbh though.

Both rushed out then, great. Well if mines going to break it better do it during the warranty period

the PS4 light is a feature not an issue since it wont turn on (as its saying its too hot).

software is fixable though.

Nothing major really but sure google will have more horror stories, im waiting till my insurance done its epic drop in Feb then will save.

cousin has a ps4. reckons its really good. kids love knack. and need for speed is good too.

I think i'm one of the few 360 fanboys that'll be getting a PS4 before the Xbox One.
PS3 was a bit late to the game when first launched but PS1 and PS2 were epic so no doubt PS4 they will be back on their game.
Hardware wise it's a fair bit better than the Xbox One and from some reviews i've read the Xbox one will only run games at 720p but PS4 will be 1080p

Only things i'll miss with Xbox One are Forza and the pad

I'm with you on this one hardcore, I'm leaning towards the PS4 at the moment. But i'll probably hold out until next christmas, so there's a decent selection of games that aren't ports

I'm going to hold off for at least 6 months to see how they both develop during that time.
Will give me a good chance to play around with both that friends have to see how i get on.

Bloke at work got an xbox one. Before he got it did nothing but rave about it, saying next gen this and voice control that. Now he has it he doesn't rate it at all. Aparently it has issues with sky tv or something? Which is meant to be a feature. Just doesn't work.

I won't be buying either for at least 18months - 2years. Partly because I spent over a grand on my new gaming pc which is 100% a better gaming experience than any "next gen" console. But also because of all the issues people have. I remember the xbox 360 issues with the power supplies etc... Waited til that got fixed. Bought one after it and my 360 has been good as good for years since. Touch wood.

I'm the same. Was either the new graphics card, or new console so chose the card.

Waited until the Elite before i got a 360 and waited till the slim before i got the PS3.
Will wait until at least the first hardware revisions take place before i think about buying for same reasons as Dave above.
Even back with the original PS1, early models were unreliable.

We broke skygo a few nights ago when a switch blown at work if that's relevant lol.

I play many games on PC but do enjoy the console more depending what games I'm playing. A lot of us seem to be holding out, after last launch issues who would blame us.

Not that many launch titles either hoping for a price drop.

PS4 has sold approx 100k more units than the xbox one in the uk. Both have sold more than the Wii U. Shame, because it's a decent bit of kit.
