  • Shaving equipment

I know there's a few of us on here who use a double edge, I've currently got an Edwin jagger.

Anyway I was considering asking for a good shaving brush and some soap for Christmas, any recommendations?

Also any good aftershaves (proper aftershave, not cologne)

Man up. Use an angle grinder to shave and WD40 afterwards. You'll soon have a chin like Desperate Dan.

Just use a normal razor, do you think people will be looking that much to notice?

I already use a double edge following recommendations from a few people on here. I actually prefer it and the saving over the 5 blades is huge.

Anyway the question was about a good shaving brush and shaving soap.

I use a Remington electric shaver. If I want a totally smooth shave a use a Gilette Sensor-excel

I have some proper shaving soap but I've not used it for a while. Same with the brush. I'll have to check what they are. I still use the double edged razor though, but alternate between using normal soap or Gillette shaving gel.
