  • Laptop key problem

    Got a strange problem with the laptop, some keys on keyboard have stopped working but its in a line from 5 downwards in a line, any ideas?

      Keyboard is cum free, also used a keyboard cleaner under keys to no avail

        If its a line like that I'd be inclined to say its a track on the PCB for the keyboard thats perhaps gone high resitance. What model laptop is it? Replacement keyboards are fairly cheap these days and are usually only 4 or 5 screws to swap out.

            Easy to replace usually. Use YouTube if unsure. Usually couple screws and pop up just be careful of the ribbon cable and the flimsy suicide clips
