Yup, hence my other thread lol. You'd only save for a few months by purchasing a deal tbh. How much would virgin cost for the same?

Check with Virgin usually the first 6 months are half price or less for new customers, also ring directly they're much better on the phone than online
          .

Pretty much the same tbh, except I'd value their Internet connection higher, as it isn't ADSL lol

Virgin throttle a lot I think, pretty sure BT don't. Sky don't either.

Do you have the 'Super' Hub

I say 'Super' because its shocking I have mine set up to an external router now because it was so bad
                    .

Regardless of throttle ild take VM's cable line over any emerging company for now at least. Their routers like every ISP branded router I have had are ****, I turn it into modem mode then use my own. (Had same issue with **** WiFi output from it).

think I only get throttled if I download 7GB over peak times, If I have a huge download of say 80GB I just do it overnight anyhow.

Noticed they been bought out by LGI so looking to possibly go elsewhere if can find anything as reliable/cheap.
