  • Corsa 1.0T power?

I just purchased the new Corsa 1.0T.
I had a naturally aspirated 1.4 engine for many years.
This new corsa has 85kw and 170nm torque.
This vehicle has way more power and torque than my previous 1.4 however this engine seems sedate and uninspiring to me.

The only time it does feel punchy is when i rev it above 5000rpm.
Is this how this engine should be driven?

Weight comes into play, not sure what model you had before but I suspect the newer ones are a fair bit heavier. At the end of the day it's never going to be a fast car, it'll probably be better on fuel but that's about it

And modern force induction engines feel fussy to drive. The old adage remains true - there's no replacement for displacement.
