    Are you sending it off to them?

    I'd still ignore it even though you have a permit. They may get arsey and say it has to be displayed and the fine still stands. Then you're screwed as you've already replied and confirmed your the driver lol.

      Even if you don't confirm if you're the driver or not, they only need to chase the registered keeper now since the laws changed in October 2012.

        Hardcore they would still need to take you to court, there have been no test cases on it yet and I cant see them doing it. Too many people just pay so it's a pointless exercise adding the cost of lawyers and ultimately finding out all these fines are unenforceable.
