yeah I cant stand them. I actually had one though, not being a brand fanboy about it. Ive owned MANY phones... To be fair I would take an iphone over a windows phone any day.... Except windows wont come sue me if I modify how the OS works like if you jailbreak an iphone since you sign a binding contract with apple.

Android vs IOS pointless argument

I really dont mind who buys what phone, as long as its not just because of the name on it. Buy it because its a good deal, or because its more spec-d than other phones of that price. Dont spend $800+ on a phone that I can get the same features from a $100 phone off ebay just because it has a big silver fruit on it....

To me, it's like someone has the choice of a VXR Corsa or a Corsa D SXI but where the Corsa D SXI costs more money and that's what they choose.
The VXR has better hardware and performs much better but people still pay more for the SXI because it's more comfortable and it's easier to drive.

Cgawelco i think you need to read back all your posts and see how many times you have contradicted yourself.
This isn't a slate iphone thread. I like the iPhone because it works. All the androids i have used are a pain in the arse. They need endless amounts of widgets to make them useable, the security on them is a joke and the fact that everyone that owns one thinks they can slag every iPhone owner off makes me sick.

I have downloaded Zero widgets on my phone, mainly because the name itself irritates me. Bloatware on the iphone is immense. an 8mp camera on a new phone, thats horrible... Better than the HTC One M8s 5mp rear and 4mp front, but the iPhone 6 has a 1.2mp front and 8mp rear... I have 13mp rear, 5 front. its pretty standard for all phones to have a 10 rear 3 front at least. The iphone is only easy to use if your used to it. Ive seen more people have trouble adjusting to iOS than android.
Im not making this a "Slate iPhone thread" im making it more of a "REALLY know what your paying for with that inflated price tag" thread. Educated purchases based on facts are much better than purchases made out of habit... ask any ford owner.... Thats why ford has a following, not because they make good cars, because its a habit.
Here, I will add a link to my phones specs. Note I cant remove my battery which is balls. I cant have an expandable SD card, which also sucks huge ding dong. and the Ram could be better, but I paid such a good price for it, none of that matters: BLU Vivo IV - Full phone specifications

Congratulations?
The camera is fine for what i and most other people use it for. If i want to take good photos then I would buy a camera.
Most of the bloatware on the iPhone can be deleted and are you really going to notice the 500kb the stock market takes up?
I know exactly what I'm paying for. I'm paying for a decent customer service if my phone stops working, an easy to use phone which does everything I need and more. I'm paying for my secure online shopping and banking which you simply can not get on an android due to its security floors and most of all I'm paying for something which makes all the android "fanboys" have a good cry in the corner whilst they post there complaints on Facebook.
Now please this is an iPhone thread so if you could go away that would be wonderful [emoji4]

I wonder if Android users are as easy to bait as Apple ones.

Well when "good enough" doesnt cut it and you wanna get more than you paid for, android will be here for you
plus, what security issues with online shopping does android have?? Plus the same argument for the "if I wanted a good camera, I would buy a camera" goes for online shopping anyway. If I wanted to shop online, I would get online with my computer and shop. The only things I buy from my phone are when im on my ebay account or using my paypal.

When I don't have access to my laptop because it 17inch it's always nice to have my phone with me.
You want to read into the security problems then have a Google. Put it this way. It would only take me putting up a free app with a key logger inside and I'll have all your credit cards, passwords or even those dirty messages you send to your other half.
Like I've said I've tried android and its isn't for me or the many other people that don't use it.
