Anyone understand women logic because I don't lol
I pay my Mrs's mam 30quid a week to look after my daughter, which is fine for everyone but I have some time off work so that means I look after my daughter and her mam gets a break...

Here's the problem, my Mrs thinks I should still pay her mam the money even though I'll be looking after her :/ she thinks that because actual childcare places still charge you even if the kids are on holiday that I should still be paying :/

That's fair enough and also my point, people Luke your mam and childcare places are a business and do it for thw money whereas my Mrs mam isn't a company and earns money her own way, what she gets from me is like a bonus

No, she wasn't bothered about being paid, it was my Mrs saying she needed to be paid :/ would be different if her mam wanted the money, that would be fine because she could look after my daughter for week

My point is I don't see why I should have to pay someone for something that I am doing myself

Nah I'd tell her to sod off, I dont get paid when I'm not at work. If thats what the entire child minding system is like then in my opinion that's rather dumb.

Yeah she works in a children's centre and they Stoll charge whether you take them or not and can kick you out if you don't pay, her argument is that I'm getting paid fir time off so her mam should too..

Let's get the full facts; does your mrs' mam work in a childcare facility?

For the record I don't pay my mam a penny to look after my little one, it's her grandchild and she enjoys her time with him. Children are a privilege not a right, their time should be enjoyed not time ticked off a profit/loss account.

This changes if the person looking after children earns a living from looking after children, it's completely different then.
