Well my rifle sits in plain site. A little redneck to have a gun rack of sorts in a Lexus, but it works. Works for people who have road rage, they avoid me, and nobody has broken into my car yet, which is also a good thing.
Also keeps my apartment safe. Neighbors see my loading big boxes of ammo and several trips to take my guns out to the range for my monthly practice.
and crackheads... dont forget them. Hell we had one have a shootout with the cops the other day right across the street from my work. Was a ***** to find parking because everything was closed. They plugged the guy. He pushed his 23 year old GF down the stairs, and then they let him stay 2 more days at the hotel, he asked for late checkout, THEY SAID YES!, so he didnt come pay and at 6pm they went to find him and he ended up chasing the desk lady with his gun, yadda yadda, he got blasted. I live in a horrible part of town, so nothing new. Sweep up his bodily fluids, and gtfo so I can park my car and go to work. If I posted the crimes just this MONTH, you guys would kick me off for spamming. We have enough crime to make the newspaper called the Daily Slammer every day, at least 4 pages a day.

It all seriousness, I can't imagine how bad it is there but surely everyone been armed with a gun isn't going to solve the problem.

Well. Arizona has almost no gun laws, and we have lots of issues with illegal immigration, Coyotes (the ones that smuggle people and guns and drugs, etc) and Mexican Cartels, and refugees from Africa and everything.
Here in AZ. You dont have to register your guns, you can sell them to anyone, you can conceal it without a permit, all kinds of stuff. All someone has to do is pass the initial background check, and the value of that gun just doubled for someone who cant pass the background check. So it creates scum. I agree with having a registry, but then again I dont because then the government knows where to go to take them away. Double edged sword. I got more than I would be willing to put in a registry lol
Thats pretty much what it boils down to. Stupid is as stupid does. They make things illegal, and it makes people want them more. Guns are HIGHLY regulated in canada, and my friend got shot there still. Intelligent people with guns is a great thing. Dumb scumbags who shouldnt breed in the first place with guns sucks.
Thats pretty much why I dont care about the news or ill even go as far as saying homeless people too. I have no sympathy for people who made poor choices and ruined their lives. Being a drug addict gets someone shot, sweet, one less idiot. Someone blows all their money shooting up and loses their house, tough cookies. Thats what happens.
