After finding time crisis and my gun the little one wants to play a time crisis style game. Unfortunately my gun won't work with the TV, any alternatives or are all old gun games obsolete without a CRT TV?

You can make it work with new TVs, no need to hold onto that old thing any more.

Can't beat free, plus as you have kids and they don't understand how delicate some things are it's less of a worry if they accidentally wack a toy on the screen

My little one has never actually broken anything really expensive; odd glass, my nexus, his iPod but never a TV or a playstation (touch wood)

Neither has mine but it's always a concern, it's the main reason I won't buy another Wii though

Tbf everything is insured, the excess would piss me off but **** happens. I've smashed my phone so can't really get mad at him for doing the same.
