Whilst charging my nexus 7 last night it fell off the sofa, it now won't charge unless you push on it a little bit. Seems like the micro USB socket may have taken the brunt of the fall.
Is there any way of fixing the existing micro USB port, or would it be easier to replace it? I'd rather not have to remove parts if at all possible
Sometimes the point it connect to inside the charging port can move out of line, have a look and try and adjust it with something like a cocktail stick or similar.

Have you checked the lead? My nexus 7 lead went on the micro USB side and my nexus 4 one is on its way out. Both poorly designed and don't take kindly to a beating
