  • Beers and lagers

So I'm now starting to drink for the taste rather than for the sake of it and I'm pretty sik if the absolute piss (fosters or carling) they serve in bars. So I fancy trying a different couple of beers each week or when I'm out.

Therefore recommend me some (where to buy would be a bonus) and I'll post my reviews.

Anyway tonight I have purchased a couple of bottles of innis & gunn, currently drinking the original which is 'a smooth Scottish beer with hints of toffee, vanilla and oak'.

It is pretty much as the description suggests, a very light taste to it (no hop taste) and quite sweet.

    Quite enjoyed Tyskie myself, bottled.

Because of the amount of poles I see it a lot in bars also.

Oranjeboom I've never tried so will take a look, peroni is nice, San Miguel is nice on holiday however I can't drink it in the uk...it's, just, not the same .

Also got a trip to the theakstons brewery coming up, I like old peculiar, and I quite enjoy telling people the story of the theakstons brother.

The theakstons brothers had an argument so one of the brothers left and set up his own brewery (aptly named the black sheep brewery). It's why there is two breweries in masam and quite close together.
