  • What happened to AC?

Alright lads? Just wondering what happened to AllCorsa? I used to lurk on there a while ago before getting a 106 but It's now being sold for a corsa so I was looking at other corsa forums, found this one and saw that all the AllCorsa people (or at least the most active ones) are on here instead yet AllCorsa still exists? Is Lee running the two forums?

Sorry if this has been explained before but I couldn't find anything on the subject

Admin Steve tried to oppress the memberbase.

Better answers will follow I'm sure

      What happened to AC?

Let's try and not get into a huge discussion about this. I'd prefer if history stayed as such.

The forum was purchased, the purchase changed hands, the company it ended up with undertook actions that were detrimental to the well being of our community. We disagreed. They didn't care. We staged a walkout. We are here, with a lovely site and community. They are there, with a dead investment returning them nothing because they refused to listen to the people generating the content.

      In a nutshell..

Nobody wanted to leave, but our hands were forced. It seems it was for the best.
Please contact me via PM if you would like to transfer your AllCorsa Gold Membership over to our VIP Membership. It's completely free to do so.

So are you the owner of this forum like you were with AC before the takeover then, Lee?

              What happened to AC?

It's jointly owned, Lee, me and Dee (Dave).

However we won't do stuff members dislike so you can think of it as owned by the members.

It does here too, if people notice and you have your birthday set as public

I can't even find when Tim's birthday is. Did we miss it? I am devastated. So many opportunities have passed us by. We could have had a cake, or jellies, or a bouncy castle. Dancing girls, fireworks, even a magician. How about donkey rides? Donkey rides would be good. I like donkeys. 'Course Vegas couldn't have a donkey ride 'cos he'd break it. Half way down the beach a leg would fall off. But the rest of us would be OK.

Back on track - what happened was money got involved - then it all went tits up.

                            But the good guys endured.
