This is exactly the sort of thing I looked at when I was looking for a compressor. Unfortunately don't have that garage space anymore, so I never bought one.

Unfortunately Taurus, when I asked on other forums for the same advice, I was met with sniggers and turned up noses and replies from people saying I should buy a stupid sized industrial strength compressor or none at all. Internet purists at its finest there. So I'm afraid I can't offer any advice on those really.

What are you using it for?

The advice is of course to buy the biggest one you can, but I've got to balance space and power supply. We've had issues in the past and a 3HP one will probably trip our over-sensitive system. 2.5HP I'll get away with. In terms of tank storage bigger is better, but I want to balance cost against use - and since this will be for small spray guns (just repairing panels rather than trying to paint a whole car at once) then providing I pick the gun carefully it will do the job just fine.

If you want to run grinders or disc cutters then you need bigger tanks, but I'll be using things like rachets and needle guns which are short bursts, so the compromise between size/power/space/cost says this is about right. And I need it to be moveable, which bigger ones are too heavy to shift easily. For that kind of lark I use electric tools anyway so it's not a problem I need to solve.

Brennenstuhl 20m 'Profi' Air Hose Reel - Machine Mart - which is a 20m reel with UK snap fittings and Euro snap fittings all included.

He didn't even know he sold anything with those fittings

Went out with smug mode engaged.
