    [Other Vauxhall] Vauxhall Monaro

    So here it is, the replacement for the Cerbera!
    It's got a bigger engine, more BHP it's bigger in every dimension and most importantly I can drive it everyday - no matter what the weather is like!

    So spec:

    2004 - 54 Vauxhall Monaro
    5.7l v8 NA engine
    Personalised plate

    Red
    Black leather interior

    Approx. 430bhp (330bhp standard)
    Uprated air intake
    Upgraded headers
    (basically Monkfish tuning system giving 80-90bhp increase)
    Remapped
    Wortec exhaust


    Traded it for the TVR with cash my way, front end respray on Monaro to get rid of stone-chips, the private plate included and 12 months MOT, service, tax and Platinum Warranty. I did well It's nowhere near as loud as the TVR but it's nearly as fast, much safer and much less in your face! It also does 20mpg average and I can drive it everyday! Not much else to say about it really, it will stay for the year but may go after that along with other car(s) to make way for one (and a house!)

      Always wanted one of these, there's something about them; rear wheel drive, big lazy power, coupe and they just look a great place to sit. I'm jealous Sam but great choice.

              If this is why you wanted my lexus lights.... I dont think they'll fit

                Good choice! I think it could do with some nostrils on the bonnet and a low level spoiler possible to make it look a bit more aggressive but other than that looks lovely

                  Test drove one and wasn't impressed. Slower, felt like a barge and much much bigger. Nice to look at though.

                    If you moan about the tvr cost of runnig you will loove the gtr costs

                      Nice one. Only seen one of them IRL before but it wasn't moving.
                      I'm guessing with comments about safer and driving anytime, that the TVR was a handful in the wet

                        GTR will be my only car though, whereas running costs of the TVR on top of two other cars was just not feasible.

                        It was a handful always! No ABS, airbags, traction control or any driver assists really!

                            it looks like the pontiac gto, they come in a 6.0l engine with about the same stats


                            other then that, it is a nice looking car, didn't know opel made one like it.

                              yeah, it's the same car, i believe that pontiac is owned by GM. In transformers 2, they drive and Astra H, badged up as either a pontiac or saturn.
